Panchalimedu

Located at an altitude of about 950 meters above sea level Panchalimedu is an ideal place for trekking. This view point, named after Panchali the wife of Pandavas according to Hindu legend, is just 10 km. away from the resort. The Panchalikulam, where Panchali is believed to have taken a bath is one of the major attractions of this location.

Wagamon

The Wagamon hill station with its Grass covered hills and cool climate is just 24 km. away from the Kutikkanam.The curled roads, the steep valley and the vast expanse of tea plantations give it an eternal charm. The dairy farm managed by the Kurisumala monks and the Indo Swiss cattle projects are worth a visit.

Peeru Hills & Travacore Palace

Located about 1 km away from Kuttikanam, this rolling hill is named after Peer Mohammed, the Sufi saint, who spent his last days here. The tomb of the saint, the summer palace of the royal family and the residence of the Diwan situated nearby are all worth a visit.

Parunthupara

Also known as Grampi or Eagle Rock, Parunthumpara is a beautiful hilly area filled with a big rock. It gives a panoramic view of the entire Peermade region attracting lots of tourists from inside and outside the state.

Munnar

Pattumala

The Velankanni Matha Church, built entirely of granite is a Marian pilgrim centre near Kuttikkanam.

Valanjaganam Watterfall

One of the main attractions of Kuttikkanam, this waterfall is about 75 ft (23 m) in height and is usually covered in mist.
